Rsync for Copying via SSH

Here is a handy rsync for copy via ssh command:

# rsync -avPe ssh [source_files] 
                  [remote-user]@[remote-host]:[destination_dir]

brief info:

-a :  archive mode

-v :  increase verbosity

-P :  partial progress

-e : specify the remote shell to use

[source_files] : source files / dirs

[remote-user] : user on remote host

[remote-host] : remote host to copy file to

[destination-dir] : destination directory
